Suz' Sugar Gliders

Joey Study

Joey Development Study

In an ongoing effort to further our knowledge of sugar gliders in captivity, we are seeking information about Joey Development. This study was prompted by a thread in the Breeding & Babies forum of GliderCENTRAL entitled "Joey Weight Chart?"

If you have one or more breeding pairs of gliders, you are invited to participate in this study. Please keep in mind that in order to be comprehensive, you will need to weigh your joeys each and every day from the time they come out of pouch (detached from the mother's teat) until they are fully weaned and separated from their parents. We are deeply appreciative to all who are willing to participate in this study.

Please print out the Vital Statistics Chart and complete it each day. Once your joey is fully weaned, come back and submit your data here.
